Value Investing Requires
Analysis Skill Animated By Faith

We're talking about value investing. Let’s say you’ve sorted through the information on this website and have decided to sell your old house. In particular you’ve scrutinized the rationale presented in the “Sell It” section. Now what? You need a specific procedure that will enable you to analyze your options moving forward.

The pages in this section will give you that procedure. The specific step-by-step action plan you need to execute your two-part strategy for value investing: Sell Ugly to Buy Pretty. When the bear raises his head, you need a plan to put him in his place.

Don't Let The Bear Get You Down

Our goal for you is simple. We want to help you sell ugly and buy pretty in such a way that you have dramatically improved the net worth of your position in the old house in the next two years. If you happen to be the beneficiary of a "tactical takeover" that could mean as much as $100,000 appreciation in as little as a year or two.

You’ve read the material in the “Sell It” section and you know in your mind that that is a realistic goal, right? Right? You do believe the facts you have read, don’t you? I can read your mind. Well .... sort of.

There is always an element of faith, isn’t there? Remember Desert Pete’s song. You’ve got to prime the pump – you must have faith and believe – you’ve got to give up yourself before you’re worthy to receive.

Indy Steppin Out Remember the scene in The Last Crusade where Indiana Jones is standing on the cliff overlooking the huge chasm. He has to somehow make it to the other side in order to find and claim the Holy Grail. He’s figured out the riddle which has told him to step out over the chasm. He looks down and swallows hard. He doesn’t understand how or why, but he simply closes his eyes and takes the first step out over the chasm.

What happened? Did he plunge to his death? No. He was supported by an invisible bridge that carried him to his goal.

Value investing is like that. In a sense you are standing right now on that precipice. You are looking with wistful – perhaps desperate – eye at the other side, which holds the object of your quest. The Holy Grail is over there – on the other side.

You only have to read the instructions and take the first step of faith. You’ll find the instructions in the several pages of this section. There are simple skills for locating your property that you can master. They involve fundamental analysis and technical analysis to identify pockets of appreciation.

You’ll have to look elsewhere for the faith. That’s the one thing we can’t provide.
